Splitomo is a mobile application that helps users split bills and track shared expenses. The app uses AI technology to scan receipts and automatically extract bill items, allowing users to easily divide costs among friends.

3. User Accounts

To use Splitomo, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Splitomo only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Upload inappropriate, illegal, or offensive content
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service
• Use the app to harass or harm other users
• Share false or misleading information about bills or payments
• Use automated tools to access the service

5. Content and Receipts

When you upload receipts or enter bill information:

• You grant us permission to process the information for bill splitting purposes
• You represent that you have the right to share this information
• Receipt images are automatically deleted after processing
• You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep Splitomo available and functional, but we cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access to the service
• Error-free operation
• That the service will meet all your requirements

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Future Paid Features

Splitomo is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. If we do:

• We will provide advance notice of any pricing changes
• Existing core functionality will remain available
• You can choose whether to upgrade to paid features
• Payment terms will be clearly disclosed

8. Limitation of Liability

Splitomo is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

• Disputes between users about money or payments
• Inaccuracies in receipt scanning or bill calculations
• Loss of data or service interruptions
• Any damages arising from use of the app

Important: Splitomo is a tool to help track and calculate bill splits. We do not handle actual money transfers or guarantee payment between users.

9. User Disputes

Splitomo facilitates bill splitting calculations but does not mediate financial disputes between users. Users are responsible for resolving payment disputes among themselves.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these terms of use
• Use the service inappropriately
• Request account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or email. Continued use of Splitomo after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration where legally permitted.
